Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, your plan, and a SHA-256 hash of your API key. We never store the key itself.
• Usage counters: per-account and per-network aggregate request counts, kept for quota enforcement and billing. Counters expire automatically (about 2 days for daily buckets, about 40 days for monthly buckets).
• Payload content: not stored. Strings sent to the compress/decompress endpoints are processed in memory and returned; we do not write payload content to any database or log.
• Network metadata: our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the Service. For anonymous free-tier use we derive a coarse network identity from the IP (IPv6 truncated to its /64 prefix) for rate limiting.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Your payment details (card numbers, billing address, tax data) are collected and stored by Lemon Squeezy, not by us. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.

How we use data

To operate the API (auth, quotas, billing), to prevent abuse, and to contact you about your account (key issuance, plan changes, security notices). We do not sell personal data and we do not use your payload content for anything, including training.

Sub-processors

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, edge compute, storage (key hashes, usage counters)
• Lemon Squeezy, LLC — payments, tax handling, invoicing

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while the account is active. Email support@sprapp.com to delete your account; we remove the email index and key record, after which remaining usage counters expire on their own schedule. Billing records held by Lemon Squeezy are retained per their legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact support@sprapp.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a revised date.
